The Animation ‘Curious Beast’ is inspired by Sir Arthur Conan Dolyle’s renowned detective fiction featuring Sherlock Holmes and his friend John Watson. However, something unexpected is waiting for them ahead……
The story behind the ‘Curious Feast’ is about a teenage boy who after numerous and successive episodes of paranormal activities, discovers his family has been possessed by the education system. Instead of feasting on food like normal people, they feast on the `curiosity of education’. The story moves from a food-feasting scene where conversations center on everyday topics to an escalation of a chilling and chanting book-feasting scene, where his sisters and his mother (students from Melbourne University and Monash University, both in the film and in real-life) are depicted possessed. James’s life was never going to be the same again.
