BME3030 is a restricted to a limitied number of students, and selection is on a first-in, first-enrolled basis. To be considered for enrolment into BME3030 you will need to complete the expression of interest once it becomes available in semester 1. Please check back here for more information. Enrolment into BME3030 will following the steps below:
An information session about BME3030 will be held in early semester 1. After this session, an expression of interest form will become available here. You must complete this expression of interest form to be considered for enrolment into BME3030.
To complete the EOI form you will need to provide / identify:
A brief motivational statement outlining why you would like to enrol.
A list of the units that you have passed and are currently undertaking.
An elective unit that you wish to discontinue to make space for BME3030.
The course administration team will process the EOIs and offer places in BME3030 to eligible students on a first-in, first-enrolled basis.
There are three potential outcomes:
Eligible - Offered a place
You must accept or decline a place in BME3030 by a specific date as outlined in your outcome email.
If you accept, the course administrators will manually enrol you in the unit.
If you decline, or do not respond by the specified date, your place will be offered to the next student on the waiting list.
Eligible - Added to waitlist
You will be notified that you have been added to the waitlist for BME3030.
You will be contacted if a place becomes available.
If you apply for other winter units please advise the course administrators so you can be removed from the waitlist.
Not eligible
You will be notified that you are not eligible for BME3030
After you reply to your outcome email, the course administration team will enrol you in BME3030, and unenrol you from the elective you nominated .
Just like semester one and semester two units, you will gain access to the BME3030 Moodle site one week prior to the winter semester.
A unit orientation session will also be held prior to the start of the unit. You will be contacted via email about this orientation session. Details about the orientation session will be confirmed after the semester one exam timetable is released.
It is important that you only enrol in BME3030 if you are committed to completing BME3030 in the winter semester and only withdraw due to exceptional circumstances that are beyond your control.
