iIMPROVE: i IMPlementation Research in Emergency Departments to ImprOVE Care
is a digital hub designed to help emergency departments translate research into real-world change. By combining implementation science with practical, evidence-informed tools, iIMPROVE supports clinicians, Health service leaders, and researchers to improve care, outcomes, and sustainability across the health system. The iIMPROVE Digital Hub is one of the key outcomes of the PIVC study.

PIVC Best Practice Toolkit – Implement best practice for PIVC use in Australian emergency departments.
PSP Best Practice Toolkit – Advanced care and outcomes for patients with primary spontaneous pneumothorax (PSP).
Diagnostic Excellence Toolkit – Strengthen diagnostic accuracy and patient-centred decision-making.
Co-designed with consumers, clinicians, and the research team, and developed in collaboration with the Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation (MCHRI), will be launched globally in Q2 2026.
Access and Subscription
Health services can register for free access until 31 December 2029 (with the possibility of an extension).
After this period, an AU$500 annual subscription will support the ongoing maintenance and development of the iIMPROVE digital hub.
