Biography: Professor Richard O. Sinnott (BSc, MSc, PhD) is Professor of Applied Computing Systems at the University of Melbourne. He has been technical lead on a multitude of large-scale international projects with emphasis on big data and security worth over $500m. This includes numerous projects in the defence, intelligence and biomedical domains. He has over 450 peer-reviewed publications across a range of computing and application-specific domains.
Biography: Professor Seng Loke is a Professor of Computer Science at Deakin University in Australia. He currently holds multiple leadership roles within the university, including co-director of the Platforms and Applications Lab in the Centre for Internet-of-Things ECOsystems Research and Experimentation (CITECORE), and director of the Centre for Software, Systems & Society (CS3) at Deakin's School of Information Technology. Previously, he served as an Adjunct Professor in both the School of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at La Trobe University and the School of Business and Tourism at Southern Cross University. Seng Loke's research interests revolve around the concept of the Internet-of-Things, ranging from smart things and AI for smarter cities to cooperative vehicles, edge computing, IoT-assisted Agetech, ethics for smart devices, and quantum Internet computing.
