Travel Awards
ASPP is proud to announce the Wawu Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Postgraduate and Early Career Researcher ASPP Travel Award. There will be 4 of these awards, each of $500, to cover travel and accommodation costs for up to 4 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Postgraduate students or early career researchers who wish to attend ASPP 2025. Please write to aspp2025monash@gmail.com with 'Wawu Award' in the subject line, and provide a max 200 word application for this award.
ASPP offers registration fee waiver awards for up to 10 postgraduate students. The award is available to postgraduate students presenting talks or posters, or who are attending ASPP without presenting. All postgraduates can apply (also if you have already paid the registration fee, which can be reimbursed). Please write to aspp2025monash@gmail.com with 'Postgrad fee waiver' in the subject line, and provide a max 100 word application for this award. Preference will be given to travel distances and hardship considerations.

Accommodation
We recommend accommodation near Flinders street, Richmond, or South Yarra. Each of these suburbs are well connected to the rest of Melbourne and are on the train line to Caulfield station, where Monash University Caulfield Campus is located.
On Tuesday evening November 25th, Peter Godfrey-Smith will deliver the Basser Public Lecture on Consciousness and Free Will entitled “Evolution and Animal Minds.” The lecture is free in Melbourne city at the State Library. Registration here.
Also, this year, ASPP will happen just before the annual conference of the Australasian Cognitive Neuroscience Society also in Melbourne. A great opportunity to attend two fantastic conferences!
