The Asia-Pacific Worm Meeting (APWM) is the premier scientific conference for the Asia Pacific Caenorhabditis elegans research community, which is one of the fastest-growing worm research communities and is highly student-centric. The APWM takes place every two years in an Asia-Pacific city and attracts ~200 delegates from all over the world.

 

In 2026, the 11th APWM will be held for the first time in Australia!


Diverse C. elegans research discoveries and technologies will be presented and discussed in the areas of genetics, cell biology, development, immunology, physiology, ecology, disease-modelling, and neuroscience.
