I am a civil servant working with the Federal Board of Revenue (Govt. of Pakistan). However, currently, on study leave to pursue my PhD in taxation from Monash Business School, Monash University (Melbourne).
I graduated from Swinburne University of Technology (Melbourne) in Dec 2019, and was awarded the 'Highest Achieving Graduate' of my master's class of 2019.
Shortly after the graduation, I left for Pakistan and assumed the position of Second Secretary (tax policy and budget) at the Federal Board of Revenue (headquarters). This position gave me the opportunity to be closely involved in the preparation of Pakistan's Federal Budget 2020-21.
