Agustina is currently in her full-time PhD program at the Department of Business Law and Taxation. Her research focuses on tax law and administration, and she mainly uses quantitative methods for her research. She is also interested in behavioural economics and has skills in risk management, public policy, and multivariate statistics. She also works as an assistant lecturer at Monash University.
She has worked as a tax officer at the Directorate General of Taxes in Indonesia for more than 15 years and is currently on study leave. In 2023, she began her PhD journey, and her research is titled "The Impact of Pre-Filled Tax Returns and Data Matching on Taxpayers' Compliance Behaviour in Indonesia”.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Mahasaraswati University in 2012. Before obtaining her bachelor’s degree, she completed a fully funded diploma in Tax Administration from State College of Accountancy in 2007. She then received a scholarship from the Finance Education and Training Agency (FETA) and continued her studies at the University of Southern California, where she obtained a master’s degree in international public policy and management in 2017.
She has five years of experience in risk management and holds certifications as a certified risk management officer (CRMO) and certified risk management professional (CRMP).
