To support all families in accessing high quality child care, the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) provides financial assistance to low-income families while they are working or attending school.

The School Readiness Tax Credit (SRTC) for families is a childcare tax credit for taxpayers with children under the age of 6 enrolled in a Type III early learning center that has earned at least 2 stars in Louisiana’s Quality Rating and Improvement System.
