Energy Resources Program

The Energy Resources Program works diligently to assess, develop, and promote renewable energy and energy efficiency projects for the benefit of the economic, natural, and cultural resources and health and safety for the community.

EPA Environmental Justice Project

The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes Energy Resources Program has been funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Environmental Justice to develop a Community Action Plan for climate change mitigation employing clean energy technology.

Under this project, air quality data are being measured on Tribal lands. These data will then be analyzed and used for public education and outreach on GHGs and impact to climate change and awareness of technological advances in renewable energy as an alternative to carbon emitting sources.
