Mrs. Grimes has been teaching PE at MJHS for 13 years. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degree from Illinois State University. She has a four year old daughter named Gianna. Mrs. Grimes enjoys spending time with friends and family and playing volleyball in her spare time.

Mr. Ruiz has been teaching PE for 15 years. He has a son who is going to be 4 at the end of this year. He graduated from Purdue University with a double major in PE and Health and Safety teaching. In his spare time, he enjoys playing lacrosse, basketball, and all kinds of guitar.
Mrs. Kocher has been teaching PE for 15 years. She stays busy with her four boys named Keegan, Shane, Dean, & Quinn. She played softball at UIC and received her Master's degree at Concordia University Chicago. She loves to travel & spend time outside with her family.
Mr. Alvey has been teaching PE for 21 years, but has been at MJHS for 10. He grew up in a small rural town in NW Illinois called Shannon and received his teaching degree from Illinois State University. He loves to travel with his family, be outside (with his cute new puppy named Ivy!), and enjoy time with friends. He loves all sports Chicago, but mainly the Cubs. Go Cubbies!
