Friendly Reminders

Please help us facilitate a smooth transition for your student this year by keeping the following things in mind:

• Google Classroom and Skyward are NOT necessarily connected and you should always defer to Skyward for grades and assignments marked missing

• Organization is the biggest problem for students in the 6th grade. Check in with your student often to discuss organizational strategies and goals.

• The quickest way to find out what any 6th grade teacher has assigned for homework is to check the Homework Sheet (on this site)

• Your students need headphones with them on a daily basis

• Encourage your student to join a club or sport (there are MANY)
