What is Mohsen's Nonprofit for? 

Mohsen's nonprofit is an international movement for justice, inspired by his case and vision. It exists to defend human dignity, protect the right to peaceful dissent, and restore international law as a foundation for global cooperation. 

Rooted in the Palestinian struggle for freedom, our work reaches beyond borders to unite students, elders, and everyday people resisting authoritarianism and state violence in all forms.

We build power through solidarity—connecting local actions to global movements—and uplift voices silenced by systems of domination. With nonviolence as our method and humanity as our guide, we are committed to forging a future where no one is punished for seeking peace, and no people are denied their right to self-determination. 

This movement stands for justice not just for one man or one nation, but for the shared liberation of all.

What is the Legal Defense Fund? 

Mohsen Mahdawi is currently involved in two interconnected legal battles. The first is his immigration case, in which he is fighting deportation after being detained by ICE during what was supposed to be a routine naturalization interview. 

The second is a civil rights case challenging the legality of his detention and seeking to establish precedent that protects the free speech of immigrants, especially those engaged in peaceful protest and advocacy.

While Mohsen’s case is compelling enough for many of his lawyers to generously offer their time pro bono, he is seeking financial support to expand his legal team and ensure his case receives the strategic firepower it needs. 

This is more than a personal legal fight—it is a chance to make a national statement about the rights of immigrants and the importance of protecting free speech in the United States, especially during a time when political dissent is increasingly under threat. 

Donations will help fund legal research, expert testimony, and the kind of robust legal presence necessary to turn Mohsen’s case into a broader defense of civil liberties.
