The Bradt and Pinewood libraries have thousands of items in the collection, including books, periodicals, and Playaways (books on MP3 players)!
Our library program's mission is to empower students to be critical thinkers, effective and ethical users and producers of ideas and information, and lifelong readers and learners in order for them to become productive citizens in a global society.
My name is Jeanna Stapleton and this is my first year in the Library at Pinewood school! Thank you to all of the staff, students, and parents who have made me feel so welcome here.
I have a masters degrees in teacher education. I am working on my second masters degree in the ISST program at SUNY Albany. Additionally, I am a certified elementary teacher and have been in the education field in a variety of roles since 2003. I enjoy reading and instilling the love of reading in our children. I encourage students to set goals and enjoy watching them work to achieve them. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about the library program at Pinewood school at jstapleton@mohonasen.org or at (518) 356-8408.
My name is Jill Purcell. I have worked as an assistant in the library since 2007. I enjoy everything about the library, especially seeing students develop their love of reading.
