Abstract submission for 1st SEACT Conference & 4th TOXINORT 2026 is
on Friday, 1st May 2026 2359H (GMT+8)
Abstract MUST be Clinical Toxinology-related.
Abstract must be submitted in English language to clinicaltoxinology@gmail.com before the dateline.
You will be notified of abstract acceptance for oral or e-Poster presentation by Friday, 8th May 2026.
For accepted abstract(s):
You will be expected to present your scientific findings to a panel of jurors during the conference.
Instructions for the oral and e-Poster will be sent with the acceptance email.
Presenters of the accepted abstracts MUST complete registration fee payment before 15th May 2026, or the submission is considered withdrawn.
The submitting author will be considered as the corresponding and presenting authors.

Selected abstracts will be published in a supplement issue of Malaysian Journal of Emergency Medicine (MJEM).
Abstracts will be screened by the Scientific Committee and selected for publication. It will not be published if plagiarism or a significant scientific flaw is identified. If you wish for your abstract not to be published, please indicate in the abstract submission form.
Abstract Formatting Instructions:
The total length of abstract text must not exceed 2,000 characters including spaces (author names and affiliations, abstract titles, tables and figure legends are not included)
Each abstract must contain the following components:
Title: Must be short and specific. Type in sentence format (with one capital at the beginning) in bold font.
Introduction: The first sentence(s) should state the hypothesis, purpose or specific objective of the study
Method: Briefly describes the study design, patients, or subjects, procedures and measurements
Results and Discussion: A summary of the results should be provided with relevant data
Conclusion: The abstract should close with a brief statement of conclusion
References: If included, cite number in text using square brackets [ ].
In reference list, note first author only followed by 'et al' where necessary, the journal name, volume, page range, year of publication and the DOI of the article.

A maximum of 5 authors is allowed per abstract (including submitting author). The submitting author will be the corresponding author.
Case reports should include the following subheadings - Title, Introduction, Case, Discussion, Conclusion.
Consent to publish: If the abstract contains details relating to individual patient (e.g. Case Report), written informed consent for the publication must be obtained from the patient(s) and a statement to this effect should appear the end of abstract.
