Mobilised Learning activities are based on the Situated Learning Theory, where:
- Learning is situated within authentic activities, context & culture
- Learning takes place when information is contextually relevant to learner & can be put to use immediately
Lave, J., & Wenger, E. (n.d.). Legitimate Peripheral Participation. Situated Learning, 27-44.
In designing for Mobilised Learning, consider the 3 areas:
- Authencity (of task)
- Collaboration (amongst participants)
- Personalisation (of learning)
