1. School Reform Unit
   • Establish, upgrade, downgrade, change names and close schools.
   • Implement and review Blueprint.
   • Operationalise and Regulate Autonomous, Central School, TVET, Premier School, STEM School.
2. Disaster Management Unit
   • Disaster preparedness and response
   • Operation of Education Emergency Operation Centre

3. School IT Unit

• Develop, strengthen and implement ICT services in schools (iSherig)

4. School Liaison and Coordination Unit

• Regulate and monitor admission of students (cut off point for Class XI & PP admission), and placement of some needy children in schools.
• Regulate school disciplinary policy and related issues
