Self-directed Learning Day is a day set aside for students to demonstrate their effort to grow as a self-directed learner.

A self-directed learner

(i) is curious to explore new skills/knowledge.

(ii) sets meaningful goals for himself/herself.

(iii) plans how to achieve the learning goals.

(iv) reflects and revises his/her plans towards these goals.

(v) develops a growth mindset to learn from mistakes and does not give up when learning is hard.
