The project proposed a robust solution to helping students from low-income families get access to music learning by designing a smartphone app. The app provides a platform to greatly benefit the connection between donors and donees. It is easily accessible by everyone and the function is strong to support and simplify the donation process. The solution is logical, clear, organised and rich of features.
The following directions may be further considered:
as a platform,
1) how to design donation rules to better protect the benefits of the students from low-income families as well as those of the donors;
2) how to avoid disputes and handle them if appeared.
As a platform to provide e-services, there are quite a few solutions to learn from, like carousell.sg, etc. We can also learn from the national library app for the loan function.
There can be extended discussion and brainstorming on developing similar kinds of sharing economy to support sharing of resources among people. A platform to allow innovation in sharing economy might be interesting to other pupils.
