Part 1: Drawing key lessons

• The idea of using a single piece of material to create the prototype is good but acrylic should be replaced because it is a very brittle material. Given how easy it is to bump into the prototype and put excess load, acrylic will break very easily under those scenarios.

Part 2: Exploring Possibilities

• The current clamp design could be improved to accommodate different table thicknesses and cup holders could be redesigned to hold different kinds of cups and cans.

• The team should also consider designs that can fit cups with handles as many coffee shops still use those cups.
