The team has identified a problem, severe head injuries in school, that requires urgent attention. Not only is it important to students, it is equally important for teachers. The solution is not outlandish and very easily implementable. Providing a safe environment in the school is important and I am glad that the students have decided to focus on this problem.
The main concern is how the student, while seated, has to bend his body to reach the bag and water bottle. Will this lead to some sort of sprain or long term injury? There seems to be too much twisting and turning involved. Also, how will it affect the wear and tear of the bag as it seems to be rubbing against the sides.
There do not seem to be many solutions that address the problem the students have identified.
Instead of focusing just on the chair, the team could try to think of how to modify the design of the table to overcome the problems. The design of the chair should not be drastically different from the table.
