Geofencing with NodeMCU solution to the problem of abandoned shopping carts

Part 1: Drawing key lessons

• The final solution does not exactly link back to the problem statement of "encouraging" users to return shopping carts.

• The team has done well to identify a suitable algorithm to determine position given their current setup and to arrive at a working prototype of the positioning system.

• The wheel locking mechanism is a possible idea that would further the application of this project.

Areas of improvement:

• The flow chart could be improved to show what happens when the wheels lock and staff has to retrieve the shopping cart.

Part 2: Exploring Possibilities

• Positioning could be determined by triangulation with a set of transmitters and receivers. This could work regardless of the weather conditions.
