Part 1: Drawing key lessons

• The team as done well to research for current solutions that either tackle the issue of strong winds or heavy rain.

• The students have also demonstrated their problem solving skills in redesigning their prototype from users feedback.

Part 2: Exploring Possibilities

• Students could explore how they can store their prototype given the addition of the plastic sheet.

• Is there an elegant way to store the sheet together with the umbrella?

• Could the plastic sheet be used on existing umbrellas or must a new one be made?
