An EEG-controlled wheelchair project using TGAM Neurosky Mindwave EEG sensor + android + arduino
The team chose a noble cause that could help change someone's life!
Original problem of helping a quadriplegic person to move did not line up with some of the ideas during brainstorming.
The team has shown great effort in research for the suitable components and the execution of preparing the code and prototype for the system to function.
While the prototype lacks reliability and precision, the concept has potential as the students have pointed out.
The process of converting EEG signals to useful input for the wheelchair is not simple and there is ongoing research in higher institutions addressing this issue.
Hopefully this project can inspire students and become an expert in field in the future!
