Being the captain of our school's Dragon Boat team this year has been both thrilling and challenging. I love the rush of gliding through the water, our paddles moving in perfect sync. It's amazing to see how much we've improved as a team. But leading hasn't always been easy. Our biggest challenge came when we lost a crucial race at the National Schools Competition. Some team members were really discouraged, and I struggled to keep our morale high. It was tough to find the right words to motivate everyone, especially when I was feeling down myself. But we pulled together, analysed our mistakes, and trained harder than ever. Now, as we prepare for the next competition, I can feel a new energy in the team. This experience has taught me that being a leader isn't just about giving orders; it's about inspiring others and staying strong even when things get tough.
