The cut-off scores for Yio Chu Kang Secondary School are as follows:

G1: 30        G2: 25       G3: 22

Students who wish to appeal to YCKSS must meet the cut-off scores shown above. 

Students who have been posted to other secondary schools but wish to be placed on waitlist for Yio Chu Kang Secondary School, please submit an appeal through the application form: https://go.gov.sg/s1ycksappeal

Students, who wish to appeal for a transfer of school due to any of the following medical reasons, may participate in the Medical Appeal Exercise (MAE):

• Serious Medical Condition, e.g. chronic heart or kidney conditions. Supporting medical documents are required.

• Severe Physical Impairments. Assessment reports from a qualified medical professional stating clearly the student’s condition and needs are required.

Parents/Guardians will need to email yckss@moe.edu.sg  for the application form on 19 December 2025 (Friday). The completed application form and supporting documents must be emailed back by 22 December 2025 (Monday), 12 noon.

Alternatively, you may contact the school at 6456 0669 to make an appointment to come to school to apply for the Medical Appeal Exercise on 22 December 2025 (Monday) morning.

Application without supporting documents or incomplete forms will not be processed.  The application results will be released to original posted secondary school on 2 January 2026 (Friday).

Successful applicants will not be able to reject the reposted school. They will not be admitted back to the original posted secondary school.
