STEP 1: UNDERSTAND THE PROJECT TASK

Digital Scrap Book (20m)

Create a digital scrap book on

an early settler and his or her contributions to Singapore
how his or her contributions helped the people living in Singapore at that time

Group Presentation (10m)

Your group needs to do a 5-10 minutes presentation on the settler you researched on. Your presentation must be clear, organised and cover the guiding questions that you based your research on. You must be loud and clear. Refer to the rubrics on presentation.

Individual Reflection (10m)

You must complete an individual reflection and submit to your teacher. Refer to Reflection worksheet attached at the back of this handout.

Before jumping in to the research, take some time to understand what is needed.

What do I want to focus on?
What do I need to find out? (List key words, phases, related ideas, and questions to be answered.
Where do I go to find these information and who can assist me?
