Complete each challenge to earn stars and collect stamps!

All Tasks are self-directed. They are not conducted during lessons.

Task 1 (Map Creation) ★

Create a map of the ground level of the whole school.
Submit your map to your PE Teacher.

Task 2 (Express Your Place) ★

Write a poem, prose or song about a place in school or near school.
Design a poster for your final product and submit your work to your EL teacher.

Task 3 (Personal Map) ★

Write notes on your created school map (Task 1) to show places of interest to self.
Submit your notes to your Form Teacher.

Task 4 (Art in Our Environment) ★

Create an artwork or draw a picture of a place in school or near school.
Submit your artwork to your Art Teacher.

Task 5 (The Water Cycle) ★★

Create a poster about the water cycle and include 3 water conservation tips.
Submit your poster to your Science Teacher.
Display the poster in the classroom.

Task 6 (P5 Adventure Day) ★★

Participate in P5 Adventure Day.

Task 7 (Every Valourian a Naturalist) ★★

Walk around the school/neighbourhood.
Identify 3 tree species.
Sketch the trees and label the tree species. Write about 1 unique characteristic of the tree.
Use a blank sheet of paper or the observation sheet to complete your task. Upload on Padlet.

Task 8 (Every Valourian an Adventurer) ★★★

Knots Master Challenge

Learn these 3 knots: Square Knot, Bowline, Clove Hitch.
Use each knot to complete a task:

Square Knot → Tie a bundle of sticks

Bowline → Make a loop and attach it to a pole

Clove Hitch → Tie a rope to a tree

Take labelled photos of each knot and upload them to Padlet
