What do I need to do to earn the patch?
Choose a task to complete. If you are attempting a self-directed task, print a copy of the reflection sheet from the N.A.V website.
Complete the task and show the completed work to your form teacher or subject teacher.
Your teacher will verify that you have completed the task properly and stamp on your card.
Continue to complete as many tasks as you can.
Once you have earned enough stars, your form teacher will sign on your card.
Your form teacher will conduct a class-based patch presentation ceremony to celebrate your achievements.
Where may I display the patches earned?
You may display them on your school hat only. These patches are not to be displayed on the school uniform or CCA t-shirt.
If I lose my patch, may I receive another one?
No, treasure the patch which you have earned.
What happens when I lose the task card?
You may get a new task card from your form teacher. However, you will not be able to earn the stars that you had lost unless you complete the tasks one more time.
Where should I keep the completed activity or reflection sheets?
If it is a subject-related activity or reflection sheet, you will file them in your subject file.
Activity and reflection sheets that are completed for the self-directed tasks should be filed into the PE box file.
May I continue to earn more stars even after I have received my patch?
Yes, you may. And you are highly encouraged to do so!
What will happen after my form teacher signs on my card to say that I have earned the patch?
Your form teacher will issue you the patch at the end of the year.
Your achievement will be recorded so that you stand a chance to go on the school's overseas learning journey in P6!
I do not want to go on the overseas learning journey (OLJ), do I still have to continue to do the tasks?
The OLJ is just a bonus, what is more important is that we have fun learning about our environment, so that later on when you are old enough to go on your own adventures, you will be prepared and ready!
Also, aren’t the patches lovely to collect?
