The shirt (or blouse for females) is dark blue short sleeves where three large silver anodised NPCC metallic buttons are worn in front, two small silver anodised NPCC metallic buttons for the chest pockets(males) and two small silver anodised NPCC metallic buttons for the shoulder flap. (1 on each side)
A pair of silver embroidered NPCC rank insignias sewn on dark blue cloth epaulette is worn.
A pair of embroidered school velcro logos sewn on the sleeves about 3 fingers from the shoulder
A black plastic name tag is worn 1 cm above and centralised to right breast pocket
A dark blue long pants is worn with a pair of boots. (For males)
A dark blue skirt (length 3 fingers from the knees to knee length) is worn with a pair of boots. (For females)
A black leather waist belt with 2 prong buckle is worn.

Half or Full Uniform Attire:
Beret is to be seasoned
Boots to be polished (no visible dust, should not look matte/dull)
Uniform is to be ironed properly with all required iron lines to be present
No loose threads
No watches should be worn
For females, socks are to be at least 1/3 to 1/2 calf high
Females are required to have their hair neatly tied up in a low bun
Females are required to wear a singlet underneath their blouse for full uniform
Females should have a big hair net in their right pocket
For males, boot laces are to be neatly tucked in
PT Kit Attire:
School socks to be worn (has to be covering the ankles)
Black school shoes
Top is to be standardised with the rest of the squad
Only plain black track pants are acceptable (logos should not be bigger than 2 fingers)
Only the timer is allowed to wear a watch
General Decorum:
Fingernails should be short and not sharp
Painted nails are not acceptable even during holiday trainings
Spectacle hook to be present if necessary
Any form of jewellery is to be removed before training starts (includes necklaces, bracelets, earrings, ear studs, hair ties/rubber bands around the wrist, anklets)
Females are required to have their hair in a ponytail
Females are expected to tuck in all stray hairs (those with bangs/fringe have to clip it up)
For males, fringe should not be below the eyebrows and sideburns should not touch the ears
Only short hair is accepted for males, no undercut etc.

Cadet Inspector(CI) – Probationary Cadet Inspectors who have successfully passed their probationary period will attain this rank.
Senior Cadet Inspector(SCI) – Cadet Inspectors who have served for more than 2 years are eligible for promotion to this rank.
Probationary Honorary Officer(P/HO) – Officers who successfully completed their Honorary Officer Basic Training Course will attain this rank.
Honorary Officer(HO) – Cadet Inspectors or former cadets over the age of 22 appointed and trained to become adult leaders. Male HOs must complete their national service before they are eligible. Members from open units (NTU, NUS) are eligible as well.
