Artists: P1 students

This collection of self-portraits was created by our Primary 1 students as part of an exploration into the theme Tech Terra—a look at the relationship between nature and technology in our lives.

Inspired by the imaginative portraits of Giuseppe Arcimboldo, each child used oil pastels to design a face made up of symbolic objects. One half of the face is decorated with elements from nature — such as fruits, flowers, and leaves — while the other half is filled with representations of technology, like cars, game controllers, and computers.
