Honouring the Spirit of Service: PSG Families Giving Back with JS Cares

As we commemorate our school's 100th anniversary, we take pride in highlighting the meaningful contributions of our Parent Support Group (PSG) members and their children, who have been actively involved in monthly community outreach efforts alongside JS Cares.

Every first Saturday of the month, these dedicated families gather at Block 505 Jurong West Street 51 market, joining hands with JS Cares volunteers to spread kindness and hope within the community. Their day begins with distributing flyers to nearby residents, raising awareness about the ongoing food donation drive, and encouraging contributions of essential groceries for families in need.

The involvement of children alongside their parents not only strengthens family bonds but also instills in our young volunteers the values of compassion, service, and empathy. After collecting donations from the generous residents, the volunteers work together to sort and organize the food items, ensuring they are ready for distribution to beneficiaries.

In celebration of this milestone year, we are also excited to announce a special collaboration with JS Cares — a Food Distribution Drive on 2 August. This meaningful event is not only a way for us to give back to the community, but also provides a valuable opportunity for our teachers and student councillors to connect with residents at Jurong Spring Community Club (JSCC), deepening our ties and fostering a spirit of unity.

Through these shared acts of kindness, we continue to grow a culture of care and connection — laying the foundation for the next century of meaningful impact.
