At Riverside, our students participate in the Applied Learning Programme - Global Citizenship Education through Critical Social Inquiry.
As part of our Applied Learning Programme, The Riverside Model United Nations (RSMUN) is a signature event for our Secondary 3 Riversidians. Through the conference, students develop evidence-based arguments on local current issues and communicate their views to their peers. Watch this video to find out more about what our RSMUN entails!
Our Learning for Life Programme (LLP), Digital Citizenship, underscores the importance of using technology for positive purposes, encouraging students to harness digital tools for creativity, innovation, and social good. By empowering students with these life skills and values, the LLP prepares Riversidians to be resilient and responsible digital citizens.
Lower secondary students are provided with opportunities to explore various digital literacies such as digital note-taking for learning organisation, mind mapping for concept visualisation, information literacy for cultivation of critical thinking skills, emerging technologies like generative AI to foster innovation and video production to enhance their communication skills.
Aimed at developing skills in communication and content creation, our Riversidians harness digital tools creatively to spread positive messages amongst their peers. Hear from our Teacher-in-Charge, Ms Eng Jie Ling and our Riversidians, Hiang Yang, Jiachang & Lochlan share their experience and learning from the programme!
