General Information for Parents/Guardians

School Hours

Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays

School Hours: 7:30am - 1:35pm

After-school Activities:

No change to after-school activities

After-school activities such as P6 Supplementary Lessons or Stretch and Support Programme (for selected students from other levels) will be on Mondays and Fridays, from 2.05pm to 4.05pm.

CCAs will be carried out on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, from 2.05pm to 4.05pm.

Wednesdays only

After-school Activities:

Student White-Space

A ‘Student White-Space’ has been created for student enrichment programmes, student-led activities, interest-groups as well as needs based activities.

This will take place from 12.45pm to 1.45pm.

Students will be notified of the programmes for the ‘Student White-Space’ beforehand.

Dropping Off & Dismissal Arrangment

Dismissal Venues

To avoid overcrowding at the gates, dismissal venues for the P1 and P2 classes are as follows:

All Primary 1 classes: Gate A (next to Security Post)
All Primary 2 classes: Gate C (next to Indoor Sports Hall/Canteen)

Parents/Guardians will be informed of any after-school activities such as supplementary/remedial/enrichment lessons by the Form/Subject/CCA Teachers.

Dropping Off

Parents/Guardians who walk their child/ward to school can accompany him/her up to Gate A (beside the security post) and/or Gate C respectively. All drop-off vehicles are only allowed into the school compound between 6.30am and 7.30am. The speed limit inside the school is 15km/h. All drivers are to keep to the left side of the one-way school road and avoid overtaking. To prevent traffic congestion along West Coast Avenue, drivers are not allowed to turn right at the Vehicular Exit Gate between 7.15am and 7.30am.

School Dismissal:

Only P1 and P2 parents/guardians are allowed to wait for their child/ward at the waiting area near the designated dismissal gate. They have to show the Access Pass to our staff at the gates. They should stay within the waiting area and leave the school compound as soon as they have picked up their child/ward.

For families with children from across levels, the Upper Primary child(ren) will follow the Lower Primary sibling’s dismissal venue.

No vehicles (except for school buses) are allowed into the school compound between 1.00pm and 2.00pm.

Student MIMS / GOOGLE / SLS ACCOUNT Password RESET (or LOCKED OUT)

What is MIMS Account?

Mutli Identity Management System (MIMS) refers to the account that is issued to all students under the Ministry of Education. This account allows students to access their student Google email account (P5 onwards) as well as access to Student Learning Space.

What is Student (Google) ICON?

Student iCON is an initiative by MOE ITD. As of 23rd March 2021, all Qifa students are issued with a Google email account. This will allow students to connect with teachers through the Google Education Suite. The Student iCON Account credentials are as follows:

Login portal: https://workspace.google.com/dashboard
Username - <<student full name>>@students.edu.sg
Password - Password is set to student's MIMS password

Take note that students can ONLY log on to their account via a web browser and NOT the any default Google apps.

Are Student MIMS and Student iCON the same?

Yes, they are the same.

If your child is locked out or is not able to access either SLS or MIMS/ICON accounts, please send a whatsapp text to the official Qifa EdTech Support Channel @ +65 9619 3723 between 2:00PM - 4:00PM on weekdays.
