Assessment-literate teachers enact learner-centered assessment to enable students to focus on mastery, experience greater joy and ownership of learning and become motivated to learn deeply. Hence in this lesson, I made use of Nearpod to create a participatory, connected and reflective classroom to nurture the future-ready learners. After teaching the students, I am able to assess their learning and correct their mistakes instantly. Students are also able to feedback on their peers' learning too.

P2 JA ENGLISH (SITI NURHAWA)
Literacy is defined as the ability to read and write. In this Open Classroom, I experimented with multiliteracies which require our students to not only be able to read and write, but to also be able to read subtexts and decode the meanings of texts in linguistic and sociocultural contexts.
In the English Language Syllabus 2020, there is greater emphasis on viewing and representing. Hence, in this lesson, I provided my class with the opportunity to represent their understanding in a variety of ways. After viewing their classmates' work and listening to their explanation, the students are to think critically about what they had viewed and ask questions to deepen their understanding.
