Spelling and Definition for Water Cycle

1. Boiling is the process when a substance gains heat and changes from the liquid state to the gaseous state at a fixed temperature. 

2. Condensation is the process when a gas comes into contact with a cooler surface, loses heat and changes from the gaseous state to the liquid state. 

3. Evaporation is the process when a liquid at the surface changes from the liquid state to the gaseous state at a temperature between the melting point and boiling point. 

4. Freezing is the process when a substance loses heat and changes from the liquid state to the solid state at a fixed temperature. 

5. Melting is the process when a substance gains heat and changes from the solid state to the liquid state at a fixed temperature. 

6. Water vapour is water in its gaseous state.

7. Steam is water in its gaseous state with the temperature at boiling point.

8. Water cycle is the movement of water from the Earth to the sky and back to the Earth in a continuous way.
