At Outram Secondary School, we welcome passionate and purpose-driven students through the Direct School Admission (DSA) exercise. Whether you're a sports talent or an aspiring leader, particularly in our focal areas of Entrepreneurship, Environmental Science and Communication, DSA offers you a chance to grow and shine with us!
The DSA-Sec Exercise seeks to broaden the recognition of students’ talents and achievements beyond academic grades. It allows Primary 6 students to gain direct entry into secondary schools based on their strengths in areas such as sports and Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs), before taking the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE).
Outram Secondary School invites Primary 6 students to apply for admission through the DSA-Sec Exercise. Successful applicants will secure a place in OSS (Anchorvale campus) for the academic year beginning in January 2027.

DSA-Sec Selection Criteria for Talent areas
Applicants who do not have prior experience may also apply. The school will assess applicants based on the selection criteria, which may include assessing the potential of the applicants.
Meeting all the criteria does not guarantee the student will be shortlisted/given an offer.
General Selection Process
Applicants who are shortlisted are required to go through DSA selection conducted by the school.
Depending on the number of applications and vacancies, shortlisted applicants will be notified via email to attend a in-person selection exercise which will be conducted between 29 June and 28 August 2026.
Shortlisted applicants will be informed of the exact date, time and venue of the interview.
All applicants will receive their application outcomes between 17 August and 28 August 2026, informing them of one of the following outcomes: (i) Confirmed Offer, (ii) Wait List or (iii) Unsuccessful.

Application for DSA-Sec can be submitted through the online DSA-Sec Portal. The application is free-of-charge and will be open from 6 May 2026, 11am to 2 June 2026, 4.30pm.

Parents and students are encouraged to choose schools wisely based on the student’s aptitudes and strengths, bearing in mind the schools’ academic and non-academic requirements, and the programmes available to develop the area of talent.
Students who are successfully admitted to the school via DSA are required to honour their commitment to the school and participate in the activities related to the talent they are selected for from year 1-4.
