What's NPS Project Work (PW) all about?
Project Work (PW) is implemented as part of the school’s ongoing efforts to nurture and equip our students with essential 21st Century Competencies (21CC).
Through Project Work, we aim to:
Encourage students to think critically, adaptively and creatively as they explore real-world issues and generate meaningful solutions
Promote self-directed and collaborative learning
Leverage ICT-rich platforms to develop confident and connected learners
Students will engage in the Think–Make–Improve process — where they begin by understanding the problem and generating ideas (Think), prototype and test their solutions (Make), and then refine their ideas based on feedback and reflection (Improve).
Throughout the process, students will strengthen key 21CC such as critical, adaptive, and inventive thinking, as well as effective communication and collaboration skills, as they work together to make a positive impact through their projects.
