Choir is a musical ensemble where students with a common interest in singing gather together. During CCA practices, students will be exposed to a wide repertoire of songs from different genres and languages. Students will learn proper singing techniques, western musical notation and build up their confidence through participation in various performances.
In preparation for Singapore International Choral Festival (SICF) 2025, the choir sang "Magical Kingdom" and "Hotaru Koi" for their repertoire. The choir has attained the Silver Award at the SICF for the second consecutive year.
The choir attended a master class in May with our local conductor, Ms Jennifer Tham. Ms Tham is a leading choir conductor in Singapore and represents Singapore on the World Choir Council. The choir gained valuable insights on their singing techniques and vocal mastery in their master class.
At this year's choir exchange programme in Queensway Secondary school, the choir had an opportunity to interact and perform together with their seniors.
