Our parents are valued partners in every child’s learning journey. This space features feedback and shared moments from families who have journeyed with us, offering insights into the care, learning, and community we strive to provide every day.

We chose MK@FG for our first child to facilitate after-school care arrangements due to its proximity to our child’s grandmother’s residence. After experiencing MK@FG with our first child, we did not hesitate to enroll our second child in the same school. We really appreciate the many opportunities that the school has arranged for our children to experience learning inside and outside the classroom.

The various learning journeys in K1 and K2 have been very memorable for our children, and they have shared plenty about their experiences when they get home. The regular updates on ClassDojo have also been most helpful in letting us know about their school experiences, giving us parents conversation opportunities with our children. The home-school partnership is greatly appreciated. When socio-emotional challenges faced at home are shared with the teachers, they help to monitor and communicate the same expectations that we have of our children, allowing consistency. Teachers of MK@FG are always friendly and caring towards the children, supporting their learning and encouraging them through each transition. Sports/Family Day is always a blast and very well organised! Thankful to the teachers for all their hard work.

Given the opportunities to speak in front of the class (reading the big book, sharing their experiences, etc.), my children have developed greater confidence in speaking in public. Also, learning how to better interact and play with same-aged peers. They will approach others in group settings to initiate play.

Choosing MK @ Fern Green was a decision we made with confidence after learning about its supportive environment, well-trained teachers, and the availability of subsidised DSLS speech therapy conducted within the school. From our very first enquiry, the staff were responsive, clear, and efficient, which gave us great reassurance.

The school provides a bright, well-organised, and conducive learning environment, with engaging facilities and customised programmes that support each child’s development. During our child’s initial adjustment period, his teacher showed exceptional care and patience by creating a personalised timetable to help him settle in, which made a significant difference.

By mid-K1, our child was happily attending school every day, forming close friendships, and becoming more independent and motivated in his learning. He especially enjoyed his Chinese lessons, which were fun and engaging. With the support of DSLS speech therapy in K1 and K2, our child has grown tremendously in confidence and communication skills. Today, Wei Jun speaks clearly, reads confidently, and is a more sociable and responsible child.

We are deeply grateful to the dedicated teachers at MK @ Fern Green and the AWWA speech therapists for their patience, commitment, and guidance throughout this journey. Seeing our child transition happily and confidently into Primary 1 has truly affirmed that we chose the right school.

Our family is grateful for our time at MK@Fern Green. We first chose the school because it was close to home but we ended up staying even after we moved because of the wonderful teachers especially our children’s form teacher, Ms. Angie. She has showed so much care and dedication supporting my children where needed. They grew so much in confidence and really enjoyed learning. Seeing how much they loved going to school each day meant everything to us.

Although we did not continue to the affiliated primary school, the strong foundation and skills nurtured at MK@Fern Green made our children’s transition to a new primary school remarkably smooth.

Once again, we are deeply thankful to Ms. Angie and the entire MK@Fern Green team for their significant impact on our children and our family.

MKFG was our priority since its just a block away. Being diagnosed with additional needs, we as parents were concerned on our daughter's ability to adapt with other kids socially and perform academically as well. Although MKFG is known as a mainstream school, teachers and HODs shows professionalism, initiative and very accomodating towards my daughter even though she is different from other kids.

MKFG initiated a collaboration with AWWA which my daughter was attending to craft out lessons and incorporate interventions and it helped tremendously in terms of self development, social skills and most importantly her confidence. Despite an uphill climb to keep up with other kids in class, we felt the influence MK teachers have shown to the kids have touched us as we witnessed our daughter being cheered on by everyone including her classmates whenever she is struggling during her time in MK.

We are truly grateful to those who have been with us through our journey. Shoutout to Ms Asyurah, Ms Sandy, Ms Ain, Ms Diana, Cikgu Ana, Admin staffs and also those who have been with my daughter in every step of the way which are not mentioned.

We chose MK@Fern Green because it is near our home and our eldest daughter had such a great experience there previously. We wanted that same solid start for Awfiyah and her younger sister, Atiyah too. The environment has always been so positive and encouraging. A huge part of that is the teachers — we truly appreciate how patient, dedicated and caring they are. They always keep us up to date on our girls' progress. The girls loved the hands-on programmes, especially the sand and water play, field trips, the HI-Light programme and Pretend Play. The home activities were also a wonderful way for our family to stay involved.

Additionally, the transition to primary school was very smooth thanks to the ‘Primary School Experience’ programme. The teachers even check in on them after they have graduated and sent encouragement letters after they transitioned to primary school, which we found very touching. While both girls grew so much, we saw a significant boost in Atiyah’s confidence. The class presentations, group discussions and interactions in class really helped her blossom and become more independent and expressive. We are so grateful for the foundation the school has provided.

We chose MK@Fern Green because it is conveniently located near our home, offers affordable fees, and provides priority admission to Primary 1.

During her time at MK@Fern Green, Sarah had enjoyed coming to school every day, learning through play, making new friends, and exploring new activities. The classrooms and hallway were creatively decorated, welcoming and thoughtfully set up for young children to learn and grow. Outdoor learning was so much fun and was Sarah's most favourite part of the day. The teachers are caring, fun and friendly. They are attentive and dedicated to each child’s development.

We have seen positive changes in Sarah’s confidence, communication skills and independence. She has grown socially, built meaningful friendships, and developed a genuine love for learning. MK@Fern Green has helped make her transition from K2 to P1 much easier, as she is already familiar with the surroundings and school environment.
