The Environmental Science Club has been renamed as the STEM Club in 2025. The STEM Club provides pupils with a shared interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics with opportunities to come together for hands-on and inquiry-based activities. Through weekly sessions, pupils explore different STEM themes and work on projects that demonstrate their learning and understanding. These projects serve as platforms for pupils to develop creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, while expressing their ideas through design, experimentation and innovation.
To enrich pupils’ primary school STEM learning experiences, learning journeys and enrichment activities are organised to expose pupils to real-world STEM applications such as simple coding, engineering challenges and scientific investigations, allowing them to apply concepts learned in meaningful and engaging ways.
Objectives:
To nurture an interest in STEM
To develop creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
To encourage innovation through hands-on exploration and collaboration
To nurture pupils of character anchored in the values of Integrity, Self-Discipline, Teamwork, Adaptability and Respect (I-Star values)
