The IT Influencers were introduced as a more dynamic way for ICT to be promoted and harnessed in the school. The IT Influencers comprise of P4 – P6 students who are trained to be equipped with various ICT skills that would enable them to assist teachers in tasks such as setting up and keeping of IT equipment in the classroom and ensuring the proper usage of these equipment. Throughout the year, we have training sessions to equip them with photography and content creation skills.

More importantly, the IT Influencers are equipped with videography and content creation skills so that they are able to bring positive teaching and learning impact to their peers. They would be able to apply and showcase these skills through appropriate school events or program platforms. This helps them to build self-confidence and public speaking skills.

Let's take a look at our journey...
The Innovatech Creators Program, launched in 2023, is a future-ready program that teaches students about game development through coding. The program encourages creativity and takes a constructivist approach, empowering students to learn by creating their own games. By providing a platform for young minds to explore and experiment with the latest technologies, the Innovatech Creators Program prepares pupils for a rapidly evolving digital world. Through this program, students develop not only their technical skills but also their problem-solving abilities and presentation skills.
To achieve our ICT vision, our school has incorporated the revised ICT Baseline Standards or now known as the New Media Literacies (NML) during ICT lessons. Our ICT Modules for this year will cover three main domains of ICT skills - Curate, Create and Connect. Through these domains, pupils are able to acquire the skills they will need to prepare them for the future. Pupils are also able to develop an understanding of the social practices that is widespread in the digital networked environment.
