MOE provides financial assistance (FAS) to needy Singaporean students from our government schools with following income criterion:

• Gross Monthly Household Income of $3,000 or below OR

• Per Capita Income of $750 or below

Pre-approved application by primary schools:

• Report to Hillgrove Secondary School General Office with the Letter of Approval given by the primary school, to exchange for our approval letter for collection of uniform & textbooks. You can report on the date your child/ward is scheduled for purchase of uniform & textbooks.

Mode of Application:

Parents/Guardians may choose to apply for MOE FAS through:

• eFAS or

• Hardcopy Form (submission via school email address or direct to General Office)

When applying via eFAS, parents/guardians will still need to provide the required supporting documents (eg pay slips, CPF statements, etc), but in softcopies for school to verify and assess eligibility. You may apply via this link: https://go.gov.sg/moe-efas

• You can download the application form here and submit the completed form to our school email address via hillgrove_ss@moe.edu.sg. Please indicate your email subject header as MOE FAS Application Form_<child/ward’s name>_<class>.

Please note that if your family falls under the categories below, a hardcopy submission is required

a. families with other dependents (Great grandparents, Aunties/Uncles, Cousins and others) 

b. family with more than 6 children in GGAS 

c. family with more than 5 unmarried children not in GGAS

d. family with more than 3 grandparents in the household
