Get CREATIVE with TikTok!
Synopsis:
Want to showcase your talents in dancing and video-making? Well now, you can use your creativity for a good cause! In line with this year’s WTD theme, create a TikTok to promote Peacebuilding! Share it with your friends, your family, or even the world! Stand out amongst your fellow Brownies or Guides to win attractive prizes! Remember to observe Safe Management Measures while filming the video!
Deliverable: 1 to 2-minute TikTok video
Details:
Guides/Brownies to record a 1 min - 2 min video to promote peacebuilding on TikTok.
TikTok filters/tools etc. can be used to enhance the video.
Guides/Brownies are to be creative when creating content on TikTok, hence there are no limitations to the form presented. (e.g. it can a dance/skit/singing etc. as long as it is befitting of the theme - Peace Building)

Rubrics:
Dance/Skit Video Competition
Synopsis:
Put your innovation to the test as you make a 3-min dance or skit video related to this year’s WTD theme, Peacebuilding! How will your dance or skit video relate to Peacebuilding? May the most creative video win!
Deliverable: 2 to 3-minute pre-recorded video
Rules:
Attire of participants: Appropriate sleeve length to be same as normal T- shirt and pants/shorts/skirts not to be shorter than 3 fingers above knee. Girls are strongly encouraged to wear slacks suitable for dancing.
Appropriate moves: no dangerous stunts allowed e.g. stacking of people.
Stunts are accepted if they have personal talents like split, cartwheel, forward row, etc. Bottomline is SAFETY FIRST!
Music and songs used must not have any form of vulgarity and should be without explicit lyrics.
You are strongly encouraged to use guiding and campfire songs or a remix of these as the song to accompany the dance.
Performance duration should be between 2 - 3 minutes.
Performance type to be either Dance or Skit
Do ensure that SMM are adhered to during the performance (e.g. 1 m apart with no body contact, use of mask, etc.)

"Caption the Moment" Competition
Synopsis:
“Girl for SDGs - Peacebuilding”. What image comes to mind when you see this? Does this spark your creativity in any way? Work together with your fellow Guides and take a photo and write a caption that best embodies this theme!
Deliverable: Photo + caption
Details:
In this competition, Guides are to submit ONE photo that embodies the theme “Girl for SDGs - Peacebuilding”. If there are people in the photo, they must be observing safe management measures.
The photo has to be maximum 2MB.
Photos which are unclear , have inappropriate content or do not adhere to contest rules will be disqualified.
The photo has to be an original piece of work taken by the Guide’s camera or phone camera, not lifted off the internet.
The photo must be in its original state and should not be edited to recolor, distort, add, remove or reverse any object in the photo.
Cropping a photo from its edges is allowed.
No late entries will be accepted.
The judges’ decision is final.

"I can Craft" Competition (Padlet)
Synopsis:
Are you good with crafts? Do you think you’re creative? Let’s find out as a group of 5 Brownies or Guides work together to come up with 2D or 3D useful symbol(s) for Peace using recycled materials!
Deliverable: 3 to 5-minute video
The video presentation should include the following:
a) How the symbol(s) is being made?
b) What materials did they use to make the different parts?
c) The reasons why they choose the symbol and how they build it?
d) What does each member contribute to the completion of the article?
e) What have they learnt from this experience?
Logistics/ Materials required:
1) 1 plastic transparent container
2) Magazines pages
3) Glue, tape, double sided tape and scissors
4) 2 empty Yakult or 500ml plastic bottles
5) Optional: old T-shirt or fabric
5) No usage of paint and construction papers in making of the symbol(s)

Synopsis:
