If you have applied for your child / ward to offer Malay Special Programme / Third Language during the submission of school choices, you will receive a message via Parents Gateway by Monday, 23 December 2024, if your application is successful. Malay Special Programme (MSP)
Malay Special Programme (MSP)
For Chung Cheng students who have applied and successfully been selected to offer Malay Special Programme (MSP).
There is no need to register at MOE Language Centre as the Malay (Special Programme) is offered in Chung Cheng High School (Main).
A briefing will be conducted for successful applicants on 14 January (Tue) from 2.30pm to 3.30pm in Zhuopu Building Level 4 (Glassbox).
Malay (Special Programme) lessons are conducted every Tuesday, after normal curriculum hours from 2pm to 5pm. More information will be given during the briefing session.
The Malay (Special Programme) is a full curriculum subject, like any other subject in school. Students need to sit for the GCE ‘O’ Level Examination at the end of the 4th year of study.
THIRD Language
THIRD Language
For Chung Cheng students who have applied and successfully selected to offer Third Language at the MOE Language Centres (MOELC).
For students posted to the MOELC (Bishan and Newton), please go to the MOE Language Centre website (moelc.moe.edu.sg) to confirm the acceptance of the offer and complete the online registration.
Registration for the Zonal Centres and MOE Language Centres will be from Thursday, 19 December 2024 to Thursday, 2 January 2025.
Places that are not taken up by Thursday, 2 January 2025 will be reallocated to other applicants.
Lesson commencement dates will depend on the timetable allocated to you.
Please confirm the actual date at the respective MOELC or Zonal Centres during registration.
When selecting your class schedule, please do consider the school and CCA hours.
The school hours are as follows:
Mon, Tue : 0730 - 1400
Wed, Fri : 0730 - 1500
Thu : 0830 - 1500
The CCA days are Wed and Fri for all CCA except Badminton, Netball and Volleyball.
(For 2025, Badminton and Netball is on every Mon & Wed and Volleyball is on every Mon & Fri.)
Do take note that there may be extra CCA session during competition season.
