Calculating rank points

Our local autonomous universities will select you based on your grades in:

• General Paper (GP)

• Three H2 content-based subjects

The maximum points for H2 and H1 subjects are 20 and 10 respectively. This means that the maximum rank points is 70 (20 + 20 + 20 + 10). 

H1 Mother Tongue Language and/or the fourth H1/H2 content-based subject may be considered if it improves the UAS. H1 MTL and/or the fourth H1/H2 content-based subject may be included in the computation of the University Admission Score. The total will then be re-based. The better of the scores (i.e. with and without MTL/fourth H1/H2 content-based subject) will be the University Admission Score of the candidate.
