MySkillsFuture Frequently Asked Questions

Q1) I do not know the initial/default User ID and Password for my first login.  

A1) The default ID will be your NRIC/ FIN, and the password will be the 4 digit school code and last 6 characters (including the last letter in caps) of your NRIC/FIN. 


Q2) If I am logging in to the Student Portal for the first time but I do not know the default password, can I reset my password via the “Forgot Password” link? 

A2) You cannot reset your password via the "Forgot Password" link. To resolve this, you must approach your form teacher to trigger a password reset. Alternatively you can call the helpdesk at 6684 9020 or emailstudentportal@myskillsfuture.sg


Q3) If my account is locked and the Helpdesk resets my user password, or I self-reset via Forgot Password, can I login with my new password ? 

A3) You will not be able to unlock your accounts using the Forgot Password link. You can approach Helpdesk to unlock your account. Only non-locked accounts can allow you to login with a new password reset via the Forgot Password link.
