With 5.81 million internet users, Singapore has one of the highest internet penetration rates in the world, with Singaporeans spending an average of 7 hours online. Against the backdrop of an increasingly digital population, digital media plays an essential role in the daily lives of Singaporeans, through which breaking news is disseminated and public opinion is shaped. The digital media landscape in Singapore remains pivotal and diverse, ranging from traditional media sources such as Channel News Asia and The Straits Times to recently established and innovative ones such as Mothership and The Smart Local.

Our students in Diploma in Chinese Studies from Ngee Ann Polytechnic cordially invite you and your students to our upcoming event, "A 'Culture'ful Odyssey: Duanwu Delight in Chinese Splendor".

Our aim is to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival, promote Chinese culture, and introduce Secondary School students to Chinese Studies diploma, Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Interested in Entrepreneurship?  

For anyone interested to get an experience in Entrepreneurship, Sec 3s can do it too, and have a headstart in preparing for your portfolio.

 Entrepreneurship First Steps (EFS) is an online course specially designed for secondary school students to learn all about starting a business. 

By the end of the course, participating students would be able to come up with their very own business idea and kickstart their entrepreneurial dreams:

-          An introduction into entrepreneurship and the various business activities business owners engage with 

-          Suitable for all secondary school students, especially for Sec 4/5, keen on applying for EAE

-          A FREE 6-hour online course (business plan creation included) 

-          A Certificate of Completion for students who complete EFS


EFS is available for enrolment from 08 April to 09 June 2024. Students will have to complete the entire course by 09 June to receive their certificate. 

When you complete the course, you will be awarded a digital Certificate of Completion that you can use to supplement your EAE portfolio!
