Our understanding of what we need to teach strongly influences the pedagogy that we use to enact the curriculum. By understanding our subjects’ knowledge bases deeply, we will be able to guide our students effectively and confidently towards deeper conceptual understanding, to develop their disciplinarity thinking and to facilitate the transfer of learning.
As pedagogical leaders, we need to deepen our knowledge of current trends and developments in Subject Content Knowledge (SCK) and Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) in our respective subject areas.
All our national syllabus documents can be found in the STP wiki page on OPAL2.0. Click on the links to the various subject pages through this link. Note that OPAL2.0 log in is required.
