Watch the following videos with your child.

Parent-child Conversation Focus:

What is netiquette?
Do you think it is important to observe netiquette online? Why or why not?
What are the 6 rules of netiquette mentioned in the video? Get your child to jot them down on a piece of paper / journal /student handbook, using his/her own words.

Parent-child Conversation Focus:

What are some of the Do's and Don'ts mentioned in the video?
Ask your child if he/she knows of any other Do's and Don'ts that are not mentioned in the video?

Parent-child Conversation Focus:

Give your child about 2 minutes to think about things that he/she may have posted online. Then ask if he/she thinks that he/she has a healthy digital identity? Why or why not? You might also want to share your own opinion about your own digital identity.
Discuss how to create or maintain a healthy digital identity.

Parent-child Conversation Focus:

How did the person who posted the video feel at the beginning? Do you think he has a good digital identity then?
How did the video affect the person who was the subject of it? How did it happen? Do you think the action by his team mate affect his digital identity?
What rules of Netiquette that were broken in this video?
Did everyone feel the same about the video?

Recommended Parent-child Activity:

Together with your child , write out a pledge comprising of 5 sentences to commit against cyberbullying. You may use the following sentence starters:
